SUDICZKI SUDICZKI ———— CERAMIC SCULPTURES OF SLAVIC GODESS
First head from Sudiczki family was born spontaneously in 2020, as a result of observation of pots and jugs left on the pier.
The sounds calling from them, caused by the wind and rain, were deceptively reminiscent of whistles and hoots. Since they were calling they had to get personality, names and facial expressions as a personification of forest calling into the depths of its own nature.
The names of the forms come from association of nature sounds and emotions interweaving through careful observation during creative process.
Since the creation of the first ceramic head, the Sudiczki family has been growing constantly.They are made by hands of Maria and glazed by Anna.
Totem Shh! - The name originating from wind sound is a starting point for the next sculptures from this collection.
