In this eclectic setting, the Sudiczki became part of a rotating programme of collective and solo exhibitions that spans painting, sculpture, photography, performance, installation, and video — all things contemporary and wonderfully hard to define.
We were genuinely honoured to be welcomed into their artistic flock. Since shipping the works, however, communication has felt like Japanese origami: folded, minimal, and… invisible. As northerners, we try patiently to understand the month-long holidays of the Spanish and their southern rhythm of work. Paradoxically, this silence adds to the story of Summer Expo — a tale about art, time, and the fact that the Sudiczki always manage to find their place, even if the replies arrive months later.
For us, this exhibition marked another step in the journey: the fifth encounter with an audience, proving that the Sudiczki can take on many roles — sometimes on pedestals, sometimes in corners, and sometimes simply waiting in silence to be noticed. Each of these situations is a lesson in presence.
